If one person is going to do Pride justice, it’s Lady Gaga. The “Born This Way” singer and avid LGBTQ activist stepped out for this year’s Pride festivities in New York City this weekend, and her thematic ensemble was nothing short of spectacular. And why wouldn’t it be?
Posing outside of a restaurant she used to waitress and bartend at, Gaga took to the streets of New York and celebrated quality by wearing a pair of statement jeans. But not any old jeans—jeans that were spliced up the front, and buckled up with rainbow-colored buckles. She paired them with a simple white tank top, a western belt, white laced-up booties, and piles of candy-colored bangles. (Because more rainbow colors, the better.) Taking it one step further, she even coordinated her eyeshadow to the look, which was also multicolored.
“I love the lgbtq 🏳️🌈 community more than I can say,” she wrote in an Instagram caption. “So I’ll sing it instead. Forever. And that’s a NY promise. One love.”
